beer me

i'm on a new mission. no more ordering any beers i recognize (except at cafe kick). every time i go out, i vow to pick something i have never heard of. tonight i met up with a new friend who has already adopted this practice, and i ordered a new beer called doom bar. my favorite beer so far! also, it's from cornwall, which is also where the town of st. ives is. i smell a field trip...

good beer was followed by good saag paneer, which tastes pretty much nothing like it does in the states but is tasty nevertheless. :-)
